Palash at Khairabera

Khairabera comes alive during the spring when the red flowers of Palash trees bloom. These red flowers of Palash and Shimul turn the landscape into a surreal postcard. Local people also call this area "tilas," after the small hillocks that have become so exotic. The drive to Khairabera was scenic as it is surrounded by tall Sal trees, where you will spot Palash's first flowers. While walking through the village's roads, you will feel dwarfed by the colossal trees around you and charmed by the simplicity of the rural mode of life. The little ones were delighted to watch a grazing-cum-playing baby goats and other beautiful domestic creatures, which will add a unique flavour to your memorable moments...

Palash trees' fully bloomed flowers signify the spring season's arrival on our return journey. The water bodies near these trees are immense in size at the foothills of Chemto and Barra Hills, adding more to its scenic beauty. During the springtime, particularly around Holi, the Palash trees turn Khairabera into a veritable riot of red, enhancing its natural beauty and making it a prime spot for tourism. The area has a massive potential for being developed as a tourist hub by combining two kinds of attractions: natural beauty and cultural richness. So, what are you waiting for? Plan your trip today to witness this charming beauty of Bengal.
